EXPO & PACKET PICKUP
The 2019 Haunted Hustle Expo & Packet Pickup will take place at Keva Sports Center – 8312 Forsythia St Middleton, WI 53562, on Saturday, October 19, 10am to 3pm. Participants will pick up their goodie bag, their race shirts, bibs & timing chips.

PRE-PAID RACE DAY PICKUP
Those who pre-paid for the Race Day Packet Pickup will go to Keva Sports Center between 8 and 8:45am on Sunday. There is no Sunday pickup for those who did not purchase this option.

PACERS

If you are running your first half marathon or are a seasoned runner, we have pacers that can help you reach the finish line at the time you want to finish. Look for the pacers at the starting line with the pace signs in the air and then join them. You can run with your pace group for the following finish times:1:30, 1:45, 2:00, 2:15, 2:30 and 2:45.

AID STATIONS

5K & Kid’s Run
There are no Aid Stations for the Kid’s Run or 5K on Saturday but there are plenty of snacks, water and drinks at the Finish Line.

10K & Half Marathon
The 10K has an Aid Station at Miles 3.5 and 5.5. Each will have water & Gatorade. 
The Half Marathon has Aid Stations and bathrooms at Miles 1.5, 3, 5, 7, 8.5, 10 & 12. All stations will have Water & Gatorade, Miles 3, 7 & 10 will also have Swedish Fish & bananas. There will be plenty of snacks at the Finish Line too.

KID'S RUN

The Kid’s Run will start at 3:30 on Saturday. Kid’s running 1 mile will start at the starting line. Kid’s running 3/4 mile will line up on the other side of Forsynthia St where the 3/4 mile sign is. When the 1 milers pass the 3/4 milers, then the 3/4 milers follow the 1 milers. The next group for the 1/2 mile will line up on Nursery Dr at the turn around. There will be a 1/2 mile sign. They will follow the other 2 groups. Lastly, the 1/4 mile group will line up on the same side of Forsynthia St as Keva. There will be a 1/4 mile sign there. This group will follow the other 3 groups to the finish line.

FINISH LINE FESTIVAL

The Finish Line Festival takes place Saturday from 4-6pm and Sunday from 10am-1:30pm. On Saturday, there will be Kid’s Activities, games, a bonfire, s’mores, beer from Rockhound Brewing, soda, water & hot chocolate for the kiddos and entertainment from DJ Aaron Jai. Sunday will include everything except the bonfire and s’mores.

YOU MUST HAVE YOUR ID & BIB or TEAR-OFF TICKET, TO REDEEM YOUR FREE BEER FROM ROCKHOUND BREWING. Keva Sports will also have their bar open for those who do not drink beer, this is not included with your free beer ticket.

AWARDS

We offer free registration into any of our running events or festivals for our top 3 male & female finishers in the Half Marathon, 10K Run & 5K Run. We do not do age categories or an award ceremony. All winners will be contacted by email, usually a couple of weeks after the event.

COSTUME CONTEST

On Saturday at 4:15, we will have the Kid’s Run Costume Contest & at 5pm, we will have the 5K Costume Contest. On Sunday at 11:30 & 1:15pm, we will have the 10K & Half Marathon Costume Photos. You need to be present to win. Judging will take place on the outdoor patio at Keva Sports. On Saturday, there is a Kid’s Costume Contest, a Group Costume Contest and an Individual Costume Contest. On Sunday there is an Individual & Group Contest only. To enter the Costume Contest, simply come up to the patio for judging. We will announce winners after the judging.

BEST VOLUNTEER CONTEST

Our event is 90% run by volunteers who raise money for their charities through their volunteer hours. Please acknowledge their hard work and thank them. The Aid Stations are competing for prizes and it is up to you to let us know which station was your favorite (we’ll email you and post on social media). One single volunteer will also win $100 cash for being the Best Volunteer.

GENTLY USED SNEAKERS

When you bring your gently worn, used or new athletic shoes to the Haunted Hustle, we will send them to Sneakers4Funds. The donations help others in underdeveloped countries and Run Strong Madison (our charity partner) receives a check for each pair of shoes donated. Please bring your shoes to the collection box at the expo on Saturday or to the starting line on Sunday.
